The British Medical Association (BMA) has said that there is a clear disconnect with the actions the government are planning to take regarding Covid-19 restrictions and the data and views of the scientific community and medical profession. It follows the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday that most of the remaining restrictions will be lifted in England on 19 July, including the laws on mask wearing and rules on social distancing.
